We have spent many years in the outdoor construction industry, completing landscapes and swimming
pools for Melbourne’s best with our own in house design, construction and maintenance team(s). We
have listened to our clients wants and needs, and in response to them, have developed a collaborative

step one – consultation
Stage one in OUR PROCESS is the initial consultation. We schedule a meeting on site, which provides us an opportunity to meet with you, understand your needs, view the site, discuss and develop ideas so that we can establish a brief for your project.
This first meeting is an obligation free, no cost evaluation of your swimming pool, spa and landscape requirements.
We ask you to complete a design ‘Wish List’ prior to the initial site meeting so that we can take it back with us as part of our brief from you. We would also like to take digital images of your project to assist us in concept development.
We require a site plan and or survey of the property / area. We can assist you to organise one if required.
step two – swimming pool & landscape design package
Goldfish Pools & Landscapes comprises a team of passionate landscape designers and in-house
swimming pool and landscape builders. Our strength is provided by our industry knowledge, with a thorough and up to date understanding of the best equipment and materials on the market. We work
closely on each project to provide our clients with creative individual, imaginative and exciting landscape outcomes. The designs are driven by site specific observations that allow us to offer unique creations
which respond to the requirements of each client.
Design concepts are generated through the latest and the best in communicative design, which allows our clients to view and experience exactly what their proposed outdoor investment will look like, prior to commencement of construction.
Our design philosophy is simply based around the building of a partnership between the designer and the client to create high quality innovative and practical designs that reflect a client’s wishes, brief and lifestyle and in sympathy with the surrounding environment.

step three - costing
Once you have selected your preferred Concept
Design we will prepare a written itemised costing.
A unique aspect of our costing system is the itemisation and documentation of each individual items
cost detailed in the landscape master plan. This allows you to consider the construction costs of specific elements. We will then meet with you either in our office or at your home to present and discuss the landscape costing.
Goldfish Pools & Landscapes can offer staged construction services to meet budget requirements, this will ensure your landscape plan is bought to life without sacrificing on construction practices or material and plant selections.
step four – construction
Upon written receipt, authorising Goldfish Pools to proceed with your project, we will provide you with an estimated start date based on our current projects under contract. Please note we work on a first come first served basis.
We will then prepare detailed construction drawings, and documentation notes for the implementation
of your project. These will be collated in your ‘Customer Care Folder’ and presented to you before
construction starts. This manual is an essential tool in the smooth installation of your new pool.

our team transgress from initial contact and design, to personally managing each stage of construction,
to ensure your investment is constructed to the highest standard, giving you and your family years of
enjoyment.
Goldfish Pools & Landscapes is a registered/licensed swimming pool & landscape building practitioner,
a member of the Swimming Pool And Spa Association Of Victoria (SPASA) and the Landscape
Industries Association of Victoria (LIAV), and the Master Builders Association of Victoria (MBAV) you can be assured that all work is carried out to the highest possible standard, with the expertise
and professionalism to turn your individual vision, into reality.
All relevant insurance, engineering computations, council, building permits and other necessary approvals are co-ordinated in the contract. We will take total project management control, or alternatively complete a portion of the project- the decision is entirely yours.
Once the garden/landscape construction process is complete an official handover is arranged
and a comprehensive maintenance program is discussed. Plant and turf care, irrigation computer programming and maintenance, paving/decking care, water feature management, lighting care
and all other items are thoroughly discussed to ensure the garden is maintained and cared for
with knowledge and confidence.
step five – garden care
Goldfish Pools & Landscapes post landscape service. Protecting your initial landscape investment
into the future, to ensure not only the well-being of the garden, and plant material upon completion of construction, but also ensuring that the landscape grows into the design and flourishes for many years.
It makes sense to have us maintain what we’ve designed and built.
Works carried out by our qualified Horticultural garden care team to include- pruning and or training
of plant material, mulching, feeding and fertilising, lawn care, spraying to keep plants free of disease,
lawn mowing, rubbish removal and general caring for the installed garden.
We would be only too happy to talk to you on or prior to completion, about a maintenance program -
garden care to ensure you get the best possible results and reward from your garden in the future.
